Useful Information

Morrison Road Allotment Association manages our 178+ plots on behalf of Stanley Town Council. This means that while we work with Stanley Town Council to govern our site in line with local authority requirements we are free to manage our waiting list, allocate plots, conduct regular inspections, and to set our own rents instead of paying Stanley Town Council rates. Our Constitution 

Morrison Road Allotment Association tenancy agreement aligns with Stanley Town Council's management of allotments across the area. We support this agreement with out own Rules and Regulations.

Members of the allotment association must agree to abide by these rules to ensure equity and fairness for all members.

Rules and Tenancy Agreements

We are committed to ensuring all of our members are treated fairly and transparently, and to making sure they are able to enjoy their allotments safely. We have developed a Privacy Policy and a Safeguarding Policy to help members understand how we manage the information they share with us, and how we safeguard vulnerable adults and children on our site.
